History
Our principal, Martin White, has been working in IT since
1969 when only large organisations could afford computers
and they took up vast amouts of space. However, they had less
power than a small PDA today!
Having spent 30 years in corporate life as an employee, for
the last 14 years as IT Manager of a large, national distribution
company who won awards for the use of IT in their Logistics
operation, Martin was given an opportunity to start his own
business.
Having identified a niche in the market for small companies
coupled with a desire to run his own business, Martin started
1Tech Computer Services in October 1999 with the aim of helping
small businesses manage their IT better. Even in such a short
space of time, Martin has established himself and his business
within Northamptonshire and surrounding counties as 'The IT
Man Who Can'.
